Sunday timetable uplift 31 August

Announced at today's Budget Estimates  committee hearing: Sunday bus timetable "uplift" will commence on 31 August 2025.

Sunday (suburban) services will operate hourly up until around 2pm, after which they will be two-hourly.

This is intended as the first stage, with further improvements at a later, undetermined, time.

Until 2pm? Pfft, at that rate they may as well just not bother. That's gonna confuse so many people.

It really should have been hourly until 5pm like the Saturday timetable. Any improvement is welcome but the main reason I don't use the bus on weekends is because of the horrible frequency, it's definitely a step in the right direction but there's still more to do.
