Try checking you spelling next time....

United fly two aircraft to Sydney each day; one from LA and the other from San Fransisco. Each day after the arrival of the second aircraft (from SFO) the LA jets travels down to Melbourne and back carrying all remaining pax as well as getting more fro the return journey to LA/SFO. Once it arrives back in Sydney the one from Melbourne departs to SFO and the one that has arrived from SFO earlier in the day returns to LA.

Easy, to get more passengers an airline flies a local sector to get two markets. In this case, the flight travels from the USA to Sydney, then continues to Melbourne. On the Return it grabs people in Melbourne then flies to Sydney, picks up more then heads back home. Qantas do the same thing with their New York Flights. They fly into LAX and then transfer all passengers through Customs and Border Protection and move them onto JFK.

(Metrobus, do you mean SFO?)
