Following on from the Gundagai Railway Station thread (http://actbus.net/forum/index.php?topic=3142.0), here are a few photos of the old Tumut Railway Station.

Tumut Railway Station was a few stations down from Gundagai on the Tumut Line. Just south Tumut, the line branched off to head further south towards Kunama (photos of that will come in the Spring when there is a low chance of any closed roads due to snow when I take the back road from Cooma to Tumut). The line did continue onto Wagga Wagga after branching off, but this was closed back in the old days (year unknown).

Those types of platofrms were usually used to load livestock, hence why they are in a weird shape. There is a siding on Tuggeranong Hill which has a similar platform, used for livestock loading from the local farms.
