Sydney Buses on the 24th October

Was up in Sydney recently to have a go on Metorbus. While there I grabbed a few photos and was able to ride on a 3 Door B12BLEA along with a few O500LE's and older B12BLE 2 doors.


MO 3251 a Mercedes Benz 0405 CNG MkV is collecting Passengers on Norton Street (I believe this is one of only a few CNG 0405's)


MO 1341 a Mercedes Benz 0405NH CNG is seen on Norton Street picking up passengers


MO 9452 is a Volvo B12BLEA 3 Door Articulated vehicle operating Sydney Buses new Metrobus 'Route 10' service


MO 3422 a Scania L113TRBL is on Anzac Parade


MO2607 is seen on Anzac Parade with a EuroV Volvo B12BLE running behind


MO 4825 a Volvo B12BLE partially in Beach Runner Livery is seen on Anzac Parade operating a 895 Prepay Only Service


MO 3082 a Mercedes Benz 0305 MkIV is seen on Anzac Parade

i was in sydney on a trip with college that day and the day b4 i saw a couple of the same buses, that was a lovely day with the weather

Yes Busnerd and Myself caught up with a few friends that Thursday as they were up in Sydney from Tuggeranong College.

And if your wondering, yes, i quite possibly was the only lake tuggeranong college student who DIDNT go to sydney

I believe that and correct me if I am wrong that Metrobus is a high capacity route that goes between the City and the outer suburbs. At this stage I believe that it is only a trial and if it a success STA will create more routes for it.

The fleet of buses the use are:

Actually it runs from Suburb to Suburb operating through the city in an effort to remove City Terminus and overcrowding.

oops. I when I wrote Scania K310UB I did mean K310UA but I was half asleep. I am sure I have seen pictures of Volvo Evo II rigids though

Nope, not for metrobus.

The only EVO II's are the two B12BLEA's which arent rigids obviously. Maybe thats what your thinking. Theres only one volvo rigid and its a B12 euro 3
