• Consideration was given to designating this service as Route 89, however It initially operated as an un-numbered 'Bruce Shuttle' service. It was designated as Route 901 in January 2020.
• The route was modified to travel via UC Hospital and Bruce (Fern Hill) from 18 July 2020.
