Notes
- In May 2002, Route 21 ceased operating on weekends, with it and Route 022 (1999)being replaced with Route 091 (2002) and Route 092 (2002).
- In 2005-06, evening services were provided by Flexibus Route 922 (2005).
- From December 2006, evening and weekend services were provided by Route 921 (2006) and Route 922 (2006).
- In June 2008, Route 21 was converted to a loop service, paired with Route 22. Route 21 operated anti-clockwise, and Route 22 clockwise.
- In September 2014, the route was modified to remove service to Torrens Terminus, and travel an amended route through Chifley and Lyons due to roadworks on Hindmarsh Dr. The diversion remained in place until October 2017.
