Route 315 was an intertown service that initially operated between Spence and Theodore, via Melba, Florey, Belconnen, City, Woden, Tuggeranong, Greenway, Isabella Plains, and Calwell. The southern end of the route was truncated to Tuggeranong Interchange from June 2008.

Notes

• The route was initially proposed to operate as Route 115 (1998 Proposal) and be introduced in July 1998. Network 1998's commencement was subsequently delayed until January 1999, and the route was renumbered to 315.
• Route 315 was supplemented at either end of the route (ie Belconnen-Spence and Tuggeranong-Theodore) by Route 015 (1999).
• From April 2005 to December 2006, evening services were provided by Route 945 (2005) in Belconnen, and Route 968 (2005) in Tuggeranong.
• From December 2006, Route 315 operated on weekdays only, with weekday evening and weekend services provided by Route 906 and Route 907 (Belconnen) and Route 912 and Route 915 (Tuggeranong).
• The southern end of the route was truncated to Tuggeranong Interchange in June 2008, with the Tuggeranong to Theodore section of the route replaced by Route 011 (2008) and Route 111 (2008).
• The route was modified in February 2009 to no longer travel via the Belconnen Busway.
• The route was modified in May 2009 to service Cameron Av, Lathlain St, and Cohen St Stations following the closure of Belconnen Interchange.
• The route was modified in November 2010 to service Belconnen Community, Westfield, and Cohen St Stations.
• The route was modified in March 2013 to operate via ANU (Rimmer and Kinglsey Sts)
