Is it just me or was it communicated with the public that the 54 & 55 moved platforms in City Interchange?

I know a lot of signage elsewhere hasn't changed. Particularly the 56 showing on the Russell bollards on weekends.

Due to unforeseen loads from my studies I have not been able to get the timetables out that I wanted to. I have reviewed the most recent changes and it would appear only the southbound routes of the ones I've already done have been adjusted. I will endeavour to get out a revised batch of 'Overcompensation Network' timetables for those using the ones I have already handed out from the 'Construction Network'.
Oh and the Woden Interchange adjustment too, but that won't be as much of a fuss.

Thanks, I swore it was 990 or 991 but then I asked Google which said some Renault from 1984 was Canberra's first CNG bus, maybe better to not post at 12am next time 😂

Like everything else, it requires money. ACT Budget is in June - I would expect it will allocate funding to both remove the CNG compressor and to install additional charging equipment at Tuggeranong Depot.

(Oh, and the first CNG bus was 991 in 1993.)

Quote from: Bus 400 on April 05, 2026, 05:17:17 AMDoes anyone know why there are a bunch of Renault's parked around Tuggy Depot not related to the trainers.
Yes, spare parts. They will be kept at Tuggeranong for as long as they use Renaults as trainers. Either as parts donors or to swap out in case of a major failure.

So there's a times adjustment happening tomorrow or whatever. Would I be correct in assuming that shifts won't be changing when school term resumes?

AFAIK, the CNG tank contract expires this year.

I did notice a couple of CNG MAN on death row at Tuggy Depot. But there were still some of the CNG Scanias there too.

That brings me to another point. Does anyone know why there are a bunch of Renault's parked around Tuggy Depot not related to the trainers. At this rate they'll still be at Tuggy after the CNG buses have gone to scrap.

Quote from: Bus 400 on April 01, 2026, 09:19:29 AMLooks like we have our first stag retirement, spotted one at Access Recycling this morning.

EDIT - Check the date
Nearly had me there...

Although it is worth noting that the remaining 15 MAN CNGs have now been updated as withdrawn on Fleetwiki, which marks the end of CNG buses in Canberra after over 30 years (could be longer but I can't remember what the first CNG bus in Canberra was). Wonder how long it will take for them to rip out the CNG refilling facilities at Tuggeranong.

Monday (30/3/26)
429 (23)
466 (R4)
443 (R6)
677 (R2)
806 (R2) - not sure if I'm dreaming or not, but it looked like the text on the "Stopping" sign on 806 was more bold compared to 827 which I rode next. I don't recall any of the other original order Yutongs having the "Stopping" sign in a bolder text, but maybe I haven't been paying enough attention.
827 (R8)
461 (26)

Tuesday (31/3/26)
681 (26) - used to be operated by a standard, glad it's been upgraded to an artic as it was standing room only even with the artic by Moncrieff.

Today (2/4/26)

901 (24) - newest bus in the TC fleet ;D I also noticed it was speed limited through the Belconnen interchanges, never felt/seen that feature in use before.
