Bustech, Pie Carts and more Bustech...a visit to Cairns Transit Mall

So this is the first 10 of many pictures (both transport related and non-transport related) to be posted on the board from up North. These were all taken on Saturday the 11/07/09 at the Cairns Transit Mall which is the main bus station up there. These pics are all Sunbus.

First up is Mercedes Benz LO812 fleet numbered 2525 is seen laying over after completing a route 1E. I didn't get the right angle but this is actually on of the only 2 doored buses in Cairns.

Next up you see Bustech MDi 2605 operating a route 1C to White Rock. This bus has a Cat 7 engine.

Another MDi Cat 7 this time 2611 is seen operating a route 1E to Smithfield.

Once again another MDi Cat 7 this time 2607 is seen laying over.

The first piecart I went on in Cairns a Mercedes Benz 815D with CB20 bodywork. This is one of the newer piecarts getting around in Cairns.

Volvo B12BLE with Bustech VST bodywork 2704 is seen operating a route 1A

Unfortunently I didn't get any. These are the only bus pictures I have and when I was taking them there was not an O405 in sight just MDis, piecarts and the rare VST.

The rest of the transport related pictures I have are rail and aviation.
