Well not really all around Australia but up and down the East Coast. Most of these are in-flight.

First up it is Dash 8-Q400 VH-QOK operating QF1474 from Canberra to Sydney. This was taken just after leveling off.

Here is the snack served on QF1474 a Sundried Cheese and Tomato Loaf with Chilli Jam... it was revolting.

VH-QOK just before commencing decent into Sydney.

Next up its VH-VXP 'Logan' getting ready to operate QF926 to Cairns from gate 9 at Sydney airport.

Onboard 'Logan'. A view from seat 12F

Inflight with Logan.
Time to head home:

A view of Jetstar A320 VH-VQS out the window of VH-VOK

A view to the wing of VH-VOK 'Smoochy Maroochy' just before departing for Sydney on DJ 1420.

In-flight on 'Smoochy Maroochy'.

An amazing view over Townsville from 40000ft.

The dimming light over North Western NSW.

And finally VH-ZHF 'Little Miss Sunshine Coast' prepare for the long taxi out to 34R for the 25 minute flight back to Canberra.

Next up will be the pictures from the scenic Kuranda Railway.

a great view of townsville indeed!

and that deep fried vomit sundried tomato and cheese loaf looks disgusting.

Bus 400

Nice shots.

But with the food, that's why QANTAS is better, I had a nice big meal from Canberra to Adelaide same thing Adelaide to Perth & on the way back same from Perth to Sydney & Sydney to Canberra.

Buzz Killington

ummm...

Got confused with the flights as I last remembered Mini Mat was going with Virgin Blue for part of the flight. But QANTAS standards must of dropped then.

CBRFlyer

We got Qantas up to Cairns and Virgin Blue back TP 3000 as clearly demonstrated in my trip reports.

Indeed. The nice one is the Coconut loaf, goes well when heated up a little aswell. Any of the other loafs turn me off, though some snacks from the Carmans range are not too bad. The Corn Chip w/ salsa is good, along with the salty snack pack. On the longer flights with Virgin, you tend to want something abit more substantial. They have a few items on their menu, however they are generally not up to the same quality as the Qantas Hot Catering (Which is not the same quality as what Grandma cooks, that is if your Grandmother cooks well and it is not all liver and brains). On short flights, Virgin and JetStar are king.

Very nice photos Zac, atleast you did not get told off for taking any photos, I have before been told by Virgin staff at Sydney Airport that photography of my plane out of the window is not allowed. Load of B/S.
