Sir Pompously

Here are some photos from today, after looking at the cloud cover this side of the runway was not too bad (Normally at that time of day, heavily backlit) to grab some shots.

BUS-853 a Renault/MACK PR100.2 is seen on Glenora Drive ready to start a trip to Belconnen

VH-VNC and A320-200 is seen on finals to Runway 35, 3 out of 6 aircraft for tiger were on the ground in Canberra at the one time (They used to only have four, another 2 have popped up)

VH-TJL 'Swift' s Boeing 737-476 is seen ready for takeoff on Runway 35. The building behind is a new building, recently finished as apart of Brindabella Business Park

VH-TJW 'Strahan' a Boeing 737-4L7 is seen landing at Canberra, runway 35

A Challenger CL600 from the RAAF, tail number A37-003 is seen on Finals for Runway 35

VH-VBO a Boeing 737-76N 'Tropical Temptress' is seen in not so tropical conditions lanidng at Canberra

VH-VBO again, this time with Telstra Tower

Fantastic shots there, especially the Tiger and VB pics - you ought to submit them to Aust Aviation magazine....the bit about so many of the Tiger fleet being in ACT at one time would be an interesting side line too.

Sir Pompously

Thanks!

I found out why we had 3 Tiger's, apparently one was on its way to Mackay and diverted to Canberra due to Technical Problems (Had to stay on the ground for investigation).

Very nice photos.

And its 835, not 853.

I'll double that wow, plane photos are great!

Nice 835 pic, it confirms what we've all known for a long time, ACTION are covered in red tape :rimshot:
