Sir Pompously

Here are photos from my first ever visit to the Australian Bus and Coach show.

Bega Valley Coaches Denning with a Northcoast Downtown body (Lady Leone) is seen on display, with a very striking livery on a very good looking body. The only problem was the steep ascent at the rear of this short wheel base vehicle

A Busways MAN with Bustech VST Bodywork is on display for MAN

Our very own BUS-390 is seen on display for MAN

The new CB80. Improved build design and some cosmetic improvements certainly gets my vote. It is a cross between a Designline, BCI and many European models. I think it looks modern, and out there and will be a great competitor in the Australian and Overseas market.

A new MAN for Skybus. This bus would have my vote for the most uncomfotable seats in show, basically a plastic mould with fabric. The body is a King Long, and chassis is a 28.310

IVECO had this low floor from Red Bus Service (Express Bodywork) on display, inside was blue lighting creating a cool effect

The Bike Rack doubles as a bag rack for BCI showbags, and look, someone is pretending to drive :P

Spectacular photos!

Favourites would have to be the IVECO interior and the CB80 ones. That CB80 is great, love it (except for that BCI rear light configuration).

And it's a shame to see some child put Sydney Buses on the desto of that Bustech ::)

:P At the last photo!

Sir Pompously

So when will you change your name to Eurorider Rider :P

I am informed they are wireless, so they would be. They are round and large, they look nice but are not very practicle. Currently the unit hugs the pole fairly well, preventing breakage. However this one sticks out and kids (And adults alike) will have fun breaking them.

The CB80 looks very nice, and love the lighting inside the artic there too!

What kind of info did they have on that display rack thingy just to the right of 390's doors?

Sir Pompously

Just a brochure regarding the Euro 5-ness of the vehicle. Will see if I can find an online version, if not, I will scan what I have here.
