I took 808 for a day out to Caloola (out beyond Namadgi in the high mountain goat country) a while back  - it got really grubby on that trip but got a good wash afterwards.

PS: The bloke who had 808 for 20 years left ACTION some years ago (to work for Deanes I'm told). Another bloke had it for 5 years after him, then I got it.

It's amazing what the workshops can do with buses you might have written off as 'hopeless cases'........they can come out as reformed characters, almost like a totally different bus.

I must correct you on your (incorrect) use of route numbers. The Route 28 is not the 028 route, nor is the Route 2 the 002 - single digit route numbers should not be presented as three digit route numbers by introducing confusing zeros. Drivers are discouraged from using the redundant zeros in their destos by the ACTION trainers (but I know some of the 'old school' still do).
