To celebrate Canberra’s 100th Birthday on Monday 11 March, travel on all ACTION Buses will be free.

As the 11th is a Public Holiday, ACTION services will operate to a Sunday timetable. The following additional services will operate:

Lake Burley Griffin Loop

This service will operate every twenty minutes between 11.30am and 8.30pm

  • City Interchange (Platform 3)
  • Commonwealth Ave (temporary bus stops near Regatta Point)
  • King George Terrace (Museum of Australian Democracy)
  • Kings Avenue (Temporary Bus Stop near the Carilion)
  • Rond Terrace (Behind the Anzac Parade/Parkes Way Roundabout)

Evening Shuttles

These services depart from approximately 9pm. Transport officers will be available to assist commuters.

  • Commonwealth Ave (Northbound, Temporary Stop between Albert and Corkhill Streets) to Gungahlin, Belconnen and City
  • Commonwealth Ave (Southbound, Temporary Stop between Parkes Way and Albert St) to Woden and Tuggeranong.
