Details on ACTION’s Network 2010 have been provided to ACT Bus.

As previously reported, Network 2010 will see the successful REDEX route extended to the Direct Factory Outlet (DFO) at Fyshwick, with the amended route also being renumbered from 727 to 200. Among other changes, West Macgregor will finally receive a service, albeit some time after the area was settled, with Route 44 being amended to travel through the development.

Gungahlin is set to benefit from the new network with extra trips on Xpresso 757 to Brindabella and Fairbairn, whilst services to the Gungahlin suburb of Franklin will be boosted with the introduction of new route 57. In other Gungahlin improvements, Route 50 will operate between Gungahlin and the City from 7pm onwards on a thirty minute frequency.

Network 2010, previously expected on 1 November, is now expected to commence in Mid November. It is also set to feature improved service frequencies to Kippax and the Parliamentary Triangle.
