- The route was extended to Charnwood in August 1974 (terminating on Tillyard Dr near Bloxham St).
- From August 1974, one service in each direction daily operated to/from Russell via Macarthur Ave, bypassing Higgins and the City. On Saturdays, one service in each direction operated to the City, bypassing Higgins.
- The route was extended to Fraser East Terminus in January 1977.
