Notes

  • The route was initially planned for introduction in July 1998, however Network 1998's commencement was subsequently delayed until January 1999.
  • Selected early morning services commenced at Charnwood Shops, and some services operated between Charnwood and Belconnen only.
  • The route was modified in January 2000 to operate as a loop from Belconnen, with modified directions through Melba, and the addition of Charnwood and Dunlop to the route.
  • In 2005-06, evening services were provided by Flexibus Route 943 (2005), Route 945 (2005), and Route 946 (2005).
  • From December 2006 to April 2007, Route 45 operated in peak only.
  • From 2006, weekend services were provided by Route 903 (2006), Route 905 (2006), Route 906 (2006) and Route 907 (2006).
  • Selected services operated via Mount Rogers Primary during school terms.
  • While initially proposed to return to seven-day operation under Network 2008, it ultimately operated on weekdays only.
  • The route was modified in Belconnen Town Centre in February 2009 following the closure of the Busway, in May 2009 to service the temporary bus stations following the closure of Belconnen Interchange, and in November 2010 to service the permanent stations.
  • In September 2014, the route reverted to operating between Belconnen and Fraser West, rather than as a loop.
