- Route 254 (2016) provided a peak extension to the Parliamentary Zone.
- The route was diverted through Gungahlin Town Centre between October and December 2015 due to works on Hibberson St.
- The route was modified between Palmerston and Gungahlin in August 2016.
- The route was modified to commence and terminate on Gozzard St in April 2017, with terminating services reverting to Hibberson St in October 2017, before moving back to Gozzard St in March 2018. Commencing and terminating services moved to the Gungahlin Interchange (Gungahlin Pl) in April 2018.
- The route was modified to operate via Baldwin Dr and College St in October 2017 to replace Route 250 (2014), and no longer service McKellar (replaced by Route 052 (1999))
