Notes
- From April 2019 to July 2020, Route 72 operated on a clockwise loop from Tuggeranong Interchange via Oxley, Wanniassa, Erindale, and Monash. Route 073 ran in an anticlockwise direction
- From 18 July 2020, the route was redesigned to travel between Tuggeranong and Woden. The Monash section was replaced by Route 73, and the route was altered to travel via Soward Way and Athllon Drive in both directions due to the closure of Anketell St to buses.
- Route altered from 30 January 2023 to travel via Easty St and Wilbow St to service the temporary Woden Interchange.
- The route was modified from 19 June 2025 on approach to/departure from the temporary Woden Interchange due to the closure of Callam St to buses between Launceston and Wilbow Sts
- The route was modified from 31 October 2025 to access Woden Temporary Interchange from Callam St (north) and Matilda St on northbound services.
