Route 166 was an extension of suburban feeder Route 066 (1999) between Tuggeranong and Woden via a number of suburbs, providing a link to the City.

Notes
- The route was initially planned for introduction in July 1998, however Network 1998's commencement was subsequently delayed until January 1999.
- The route appears to have only operated one northbound service daily.
- It was not prominently included on timetables - it is absent from the Route 66 timetable, and the route key on the Network Map. It is however listed on the City Inset map, and the Tuggeranong departures list, and on the intertown links timetable.
- It was discontinued by the end of 1999
