- From October 1981 until May 1996, it operated on weekends only, with weekday services provided by Route 230 (1977) and Route 231 (1977).
- The southbound route was modified in May 1982 to operate via State Circle
- The route was modified in June 1986 to operate via State Circle, Flynn Dr, and Coronation Dr on northbound services.
- The route was modified through Curtin in July 1988, and to operate via Deakin and Capital Circle.
- The route was modified in July 1990 to operate via Parliament House.
- It ceased operating via Parliament House in February 1993, with services provided by Route 234 (1977) and Route 352 (1979).
- From May 1996, it operated on weekday evenings.
