Route 162 was an extension of suburban feeder Route 062 (1999) between Tuggeranong and Woden via Kambah East, that provided a link between Woden and the City.

Notes

  • The route was initially planned for introduction in July 1998, however Network 1998's commencement was subsequently delayed until January 1999.
  • The route was modified in September 1999 to travel via Corinna St on southbound services
  • The route was modified in January 2000 to travel via Holwell St, Cowlishaw St, and Anketell St enroute to Athllon Dr on northbound services, instead of via Pitman St.
  • The route was modified in September 2014 to terminate at London/Akuna on northbound services, with the route through the City altered accordingly. Southbound services continued to commence at City West.
