Bus 914 suffers major damage when it collides with a tree and electrical substation on Beaurepaire Crescent in Holt whilst operating Route 44 on 25 February. The only passenger on the bus escaped injury whilst the driver was taken to hospital.
March
Bus 108 receives a new AOA when ActewAGL and TransACT launch a new campaign.
Bus 104 suffers a minor engine fire on 2 March. It was repaired and returned to service during May.
Bus 991 re-enters service following its conversion from running on Natural Gas to Diesel.
April
The Enviro 500 Double Decker makes a quick stop in Canberra at the end of the month.
May
Bus 724 re-enters service, after having its trailer section replaced with that of the written-off Bus 703 following fire damage to its trailer section during 2007.
June
Network 08 commences on 2 June and marks the first major changes to the ACTION Network since 1998.
Bus 374, ACTIONs first MAN 18.310 arrives at Tuggeranong Depot on 26 June.
July
Buses 982 and 990 receive new liveries promoting Aboriginal reconcilliation.
Bus 990 re-enters service following its conversion from running on Natural Gas to Diesel.
Bus 908 is involved in an accident on Gundaroo Dr on 4 July. Damage is minimal.
Bus 374 enters service on 29 July.
