The 992 – 995 Class Renault are powered by diesel engines and were the other four prototype buses completed before the production run commenced. They had the same features as the NGV prototypes.

The 996 – 112 & 114-125 Class Renault are powered by Euro 2 spec Diesel Engines. This chassis featured an increase in the size of the brakes and the addition of an Intercooler to the engine. The bodies included all the features of the prototypes of the PR100-3’s.

The Renault PR100.3 buses carry fleet numbers 992 to 999 and 100 to 125, although 990-991 have been converted from PR100.3NGV and 113, 126-131 have been converted from PR100.3a.
