Notes
- The route was initially planned for introduction in July 1998, however Network 1998's commencement was subsequently delayed until January 1999.
- In peak periods, the route extended to Campbell Park via Capital Hill, Barton, and Russell for northbound morning services, and southbound evening services.
- The peak extension was modified in May 2022 to travel via Kings Av, Russell Dr, Reg Saunders Way, Northcott Dr, ADFA and Campbell, instead of via Morshead Dr, Russell Dr, Constitution Ave, Anzac Pde, Fairbairn Ave, Campbell Park, and ADFA.
- From December 2006, evening and weekend services were provided by Route 964 (2006) and Route 966 (2006).
- The route was modified in December 2006 to travel via Sainsbury St instead of Langdon Ave, Gaunson Cres, and Longmore Cres, as well as via Athllon Dr to Parramatta St (instead of Melrose Dr) on northbound services.
- The peak extension was again modified in June 2008 to travel via State Circle, Sydney Ave, and National Cct instead of via Parliament Dr.
- The route was proposed to revert to seven day operation in Network 2008 and to omit service to the Phillip Trades Area, but this did not eventuate.
- The route was modified in September 2014 to travel via Langdon Ave instead of via Sternberg Cr, Wheeler Cr, Garratt St, Langdon Ave, and Sainsbury St, to no longer travel via Phillip, and to no longer travel via Scollay St.
- The peak extension was discontinued from September 2014, though Route 163 (2014) was introduced to provide a peak extension to the City.
