BUS 675 - KINGSTON DEPOT

It was the first bus of what would be 258 Renault PR100.2 buses ordered by ACTION – the largest ever single-model bus order made by Canberra.

The PR100.2 was chosen for Canberra after an evaluation of several possible models including Leyland Lynx B50 and Scania BR112H, as well as the existing Mercedes-Benz O.305 buses.

Bus 675 was withdrawn from service in May 2000. Over sixteen years later, 84 PR100.2 buses are still travelling the roads of Canberra. (Information current as at 1 Sep 2016.)
