Introduction

Network 1989 commenced in May of that year. Changes from the previous network were relatively minor - mainly involving timing changes, and services being added or removed based on demand.

Minor updates were made over the life of Network 1989, particularly as Tuggeranong continued to develop, with stage one of the Tuggeranong Bus Depot coming online in August 1989.
